The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Skills Check-Off is the required in-person skills evaluation following completion of the online AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course. This course is designed for individuals with little or no medical experience. During the session, participants are evaluated on their ability to perform CPR, use an AED, and apply essential first aid skills. Participants are also assessed on their ability to recognize and respond appropriately to a variety of medical, injury, environmental, and mental health emergencies. Proof of completion of the HeartCode online portion is required prior to attending the skills check-off session.
